Peep! Peep! Peep! I Love the sound of baby chickens. They're so small you can fit them easily in one hand. I started raising chicken last year for fun and their yummy eggs. To think they eat grass, worms, my leftover spaghetti and they transform it into prefect eggs everyday. They have such funny personalities and often follow me around the medicine wheel each morning as I do my prayers. When we stop our worrying minds and truly look around at nature we begin to realize everything is so amazing and prefect - just like our lives, if we let it! Namaste' Raven

March 1st, 2010 Fragile - Handle with Care

My Dear Children, how precious new life is when they first arrive. Spring heralds the birthing of new babies from every family. New seeds push through the soil as baby sprouts, fuzzy little chicks peep as they explore their new surroundings, and little fingers of a new born child grasp the hand of her daddy for the first time. When life is young we take extra care with how we handle these precious children.

As we grow older we can forget how to be gentle to others, until we again are faced with new life to remind us how fragile life can be. Gentleness is an expression of patience, love and a soft touch. Gentleness is the key when teaching a child how to hold a kitten. You wouldn't play football with a kitten, but drag around a piece of string and you have a great game. We intuitively know how to hold a baby so they are safe within our arms. And we know a fragile plant will grow better if you don't break off all the new leaves when you transplant it into its new pot. When faced with the care and love of others we are gentle, patient and tender. So why are we so rough on ourselves?

Our tender hearts can be just as fragile and soft as a baby chick. In the last few years many of you have experienced the release and surrendering of old pain, limiting beliefs and unreal expectations. As you have released these burdens back to Divine it has left you exposed, raw and tender in the heart. The sadness you feel in your heart that can't be explained is your true heart opening to love the world. Fear not my loves! Just as a new born deer must learn to get up on its feet to walk you too will learn to experience life with a new heart. What we must remember is to handle this new heart like any new born - with love, patience and gentleness.

Be tender with this heart! Allow it to see the world in a full loving way! Be a guide for yourself as you open to live within life and not as the silent observer of yesterday. Much like a new born you feel everything very intensely. Colors, sounds, smells and emotions can be overwhelming at times. Pain and grief of the heart refuse to stay hidden, but instead rear they're way to the surface to be dealt with now. And our empathy for others is magnified so we can better understand the suffering of others.

Why would be want our hearts to be open like this? To listen to the world and make the changes we desire we must have an open heart. To be open means to not hide, no lies, and pure compassion. This open heart is free to express love and to receive love. It is through love we change ourselves and the world around us. This is how we become the change we desire to see in the world. Handle yourself with care my loves. Be patient with yourself as you release and becoming these amazing loving beings. My love is always with you to bring comfort and peace.

Raven's Blog:
Roar! Wow, Spring is trying to peek it's way into each day as we start February. I've heard my first frog song and the bulbs are already above the ground! So it makes sense I've got the Spring cleaning bug to file, sort, and donate anything that needs to go. With each thing I let go of it makes so much room both in my office and in my mind. So de-clutter, it feel so good!!! Also Mom (Mother Mary) mentioned at the Anacortes group to check in with your dreams. Now is the time to remember those dreams and aspirations because it may be time to take the leap of faith to manifest it. Being the year of the tiger myself, I've already been feeling the tiger energy ready to roar into our lives and with it comes amazing energy to create what you desire. Namaste' Raven

February 1st, 2010 Fearless Love

My dear children, let us continue our discussion on fearlessness. For many insights we don't always have a word that conveys the true meaning of what we are experiencing. When I use the word fearless I'm not talking about less fear, but instead going beyond the fear.

Fear is something we all experience. We all know that one day we are going to die and we may be afraid of this. Even though we accept in our mind that all life comes to an end and will die we still have feelings of dread and panic. Fear has many ways to express itself. This fear of death is always lurking, so we become twitchy, restless, and finding things to keep ourselves busy. Boredom would spell doom to this fear because you'd be faced with yourself and what you fear, so the only option is to be so busy that fear of death can never fit on your schedule of life. Can you just sit quietly without moving? Can you just relax without the TV or book to distract you? Think of all the things we do each day to keep ourselves busy. For some they exercise, others drink, and some may constantly make appointments with people to not have time to themselves. Keeping yourself busy is not defeating the fear, this constant avoidance can be tiresome and exhaust you till you are forced to face your fears.

Fear can be for big changes of life or the daily demands of the world. It expresses itself as inadequacy to do what we desire. We feel our own lives are overwhelming and if we add the rest of the world it is too much. Often people fantasize about living forever, like your vampires in books and TV. Even if you could live for thousand years many would not even make it to their 200th birthday before walking into the sunlight and ending life. No matter how hard you avoid fear, death and suffering is still taking place around you and within you, and eventually you will have to face it. Fear has to be acknowledged. We have to recognize the fear within us and see the truth within it. It is this process that allows us to move beyond the fear and step out into the world as fearless.

Facing your fear is like opening Pandora's box. In this Greek tale a woman cannot keep her curiosity from opening the forbidden box of the Gods. Within the box is disease, suffering, and fear. But at the very bottom of this box was something we all needed...hope. Hope should be translated to fearlessness and the belief that if we have fear then we have the ability to experience no fear. We must experience these sufferings, diseases, and fears so that we may have compassion for ourselves and others and then move to acceptance of their teachings to fearlessness. To face our fear of death we must first open that box of fear. See ourselves truthfully and accept how we respond to this fear. Ask yourself how do you avoid yourselves with procrastination and keeping yourself busy ? Are you twitchy and restless? Then let this fear rise within yourself. Witness the emotions and feelings you have around death. Look pass your first impression and see the truth buried deep inside. Then you will see that all things die, death is not something stalking us, but the next stage of being. Our pain, fear, and suffering are but teachers in life and even they too can last for so long before they transform into love, insight, and health. As soon as we see the truth within the fear, this fear has no hold over you and becomes as dust drifting away on the wind. Fear can only take root within your heart if you are not willing to see the whole truth of life.

No matter what fear we choose to face within us, once we see the truth it can not have any hold over us. The doubtful voice that made us feel inadequate no longer has a voice. And the restlessness soon quiets to stillness and peace. We stand tall and true in our lives with fearlessness ready to leap like a tiger to what ever moves us. A tiger does not fear the jungle, but instead moves through it enjoying all that is has to offer. It knows it is part of the jungle and the jungle is part of it. I challenge you my loves to face your fears. Roar like the tiger and see the truth waiting for you within your heart. Become fearless in all you do and life will roar back with love, compassion, and a new connection to being alive in this moment.

Raven's Blog:
Happy New Year! Please forgive me for dragging my feet with the Mother Mary posting this month, she wanted me to take notes from her live channeling with the new energies and information about 2010. I could feel the shift of energy on New Year's Eve and quite happy to be in the new energy. For many of us Spirit asked us to put our feet up and to be quiet till the new year (I ruptured my leg tendon so I didn't have much choice in resting - thanks Mother!). Mother Mary talked about last year being a 'year of completions, or coming full circle' and now we leap into the next stage. So I hope you have released whatever is weighing down your heart, because this year is going to be quick and exciting! Namaste' Raven

January 1st, 2010 Call to the Community

My dear children, welcome to 2010! These next few years will be exciting as your world decides to align itself to new understandings and include old partnerships. In these next three years you will be completing the final push into unity and intuition many of you have worked on for the last 50 years. The phrase ‘I finally get it' will be heard as truth and vision is accepted in ourselves and humanity as a whole. There will be those who choose to look away, and those who fight to maintain the old patterns of fear, but the light of consciousness is brighter each day.

What can we expect in this coming year? After a time of organizing and finishing with anything you brought with you from 2009 (thoughts, clearing energy, lessons) you will be preparing for a busy year come Mid February. As you move into the year of the White Tiger there will be an energy of Fearlessness. When we understand ourselves (or ‘get it') we are accepting not only the current state of life but also standing in our power. When we become aligned with our heart and knowingness we become fearless - without doubt. This does not mean you will jump off a building, or wear a red cape, but instead you'll be able to have confidence in all decisions. Having clear vision, facing your fears, and seeing the truth in yourself and others are what you'll be navigating in this new year. Be fearless! You have walked this path through many lessons and experiences, so you can handle anything new.

Not only is this a year of fearlessness we are also becoming aware of many voices and truth of other beings we share this world with. Archangel Ariel will bring communication on all levels including; ancient wisdom, ancestors, animals, plants, fey and other realms, and star peoples. Learning to quiet ourselves allows us to hear beyond our mental chatter to those who guide us including me my dears. Being able to listen to our heart, or even our bodies, with ease can help us understand how to better care and feed ourselves and to teach others the same.

Our own communication becomes more and more clear everyday. Meaning be careful what you wish for with your words. What you speak you are creating this very moment. Ask for gentleness, ask for compassion, ask for grace in all that you speak for yourself and others. In becoming more aware of our thoughts and spoken words we can better understand what we are manifesting in life.

Now for the best part....This year is a call to the community! We can have truth for ourselves, hear our pets with clarity, and be fearless about our decisions, but without the community that supports you life can still be difficult. Your community includes family, friends, neighbors, but also local stores you shop at, schools you attend, land you live on. Each of you make up a web of life in this community. Your energy, thoughts, and love change this community daily. Ever wonder why Spirit has had many of you moving in the last few years? Divine is placing each person where they are needed the most. For some of you this may mean traveling or moving again. Each time we move or change we learn of new communities and add to them our love and energy.

To be part of your community is simple, first understand who you surround yourself with. From this circle of beings add their friends and homes, add who you see monthly, and then the land you travel on each day. Quite a big community you have! Now that you see your community, what do you provide in this community? (Money to support local grocery store, your job, a smile to a nice store clerk) Is there something you'd like to give or do? (Plant a flower bed along the sidewalk, hang a bird feeder for local birds, donate loved clothes) What can the community do for you? (Ask friends for help to move, prayers, save a seat at a game) What help do you need? (Financial help, looking for a job, learning a new trade) Your community is what helps you to expand, to learn, and to quickly find what you are desiring. They support you as you support them. No more can we hide in our single-serve lives but instead we must be part of a banquet of friends and loving beings.

Enjoy my loves! As you begin this year know you are not alone. Your loving community surrounds you, both seen and unseen. I walk by your side as you find that confidence to reach out and change not only your inner world but witness this amazing outer world changing to compassion with you.

Namaste' Mother Mary
